Parts help

Need parts and better yet manuals for Jacobsen GT14H (same as Ford LGT145). Specifically the mower deck. It's a crying shame to have to throw away a perfectly good tractor because I can't find parts or information. Any advise is greatly appreciated.

i like to tinker around with old garden tractors, and i think you are going to have a hard time finding a deck for your tractor. i would suggest finding a big lawn/garden place with a bunch of old mowers out back, and simply find a deck from another type of tractor and do some fabrication to make it fit. a little welding is all that would be required.

Great idea... all the small engine shops around here and lawnmower repair places have dozens of mower carcases laying around in their boneyard.

Several Years Ago, I had a Ford LGT 120, which had to have a deck as it to had holes in it.

I ordered one from the local Ford dealer complete with spindles and all, at that time this 42" deck was $750.00.

A lot for a deck but I needed a mower.
It was made by Jacobsen , I think it was shipped from Michigan and I was told at that time it was the last complete deck in captivity.

check this out on ebay...seller has a buy it now... its not for auction as of now-I think. Says it's off of a LGT120 (looks similar to my Jacobsen/Homelite GT12H deck.....)
