Dozer?

Are you bringing one in or going down to see Steve at Artec?

We have a Komatsu D20-A with less than 1000 hrs if anyone wants a dozer. We have been using it on a job site for a motel. It does need paint.

Thanks,

Bruce, we have a D20A6 with bolt on street pads. Very capable machine, and it will certainly out "bulldoze" any compact tractor or skidsteer. Have you used a D31P-20A yet? The D31 is about 16K pounds, all joystick operation. One joystick controls forward and back and turning, the other controls all blade functions. 6 cylinder engine, smooth as can be. A guy really needs both....of course it helps if you sell equipment for a living, you don't have to get permission from the better half when an "investment opportunity" comes up.

I think I'm taking us further off subject!

I have not used that big of machine. I had a D21p-6 that was nice size with power shift. It had swamp pads that were good in soft soil. I still see it around town on different job sites.

Thanks,
Bruce

Not sure what year yours is.. but sounds newer than mine ( 1979 ym1700 ).. and my pump is fine.... for that fact.. the pump on my 1952 ford 8n is still serviceable.... beginning to loose its gumption.. but still lifts a 6' disc...

Hello Dave,

Well you asked so I will mention some. The 18 was built between 1977-1997 weighs 15770 lbs as the 20 was built between 1987-1996 and weighs 15850. They are both 70 hp and the dimension heights are different the 20 being higher but can't be too much because the weights are pretty close. Now there are many types of tractors with different abbreviations which do mean differences but can't go through them all. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif Now mind you these specs are from Japanese domestic standard and may be different in the States. They are pretty much the same though I believe. /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif
