Now this has been interesting to look through. I finding parts I was told were not available anymore!

Just because it shows up in the computer doesn't mean it is available.:( It is really just an online version of the printed parts manual. For example, my 1980's vintage Ford snowblower has a part number for a hydraulic rotation chute option. No longer available:(

Often things are discontinued though "wholegoods / Sales" dept and still available though parts. Once the actual parts are discontinued they get marked "NLA" (no longer available) in the parts system. This does take some time occasionaly, imagine the task of keeping all this information current. You very well could order each of the parts for that rotator, even though you can't order the entire kit.

Now I admit I didn't think about that. Just as well though as I'm no longer interested in the parts anyway!:p

If anyone cares, we just make a big update to the online catalogs. I must say, I think what we have is nicer than what New Holland themselves offers.

I agree..this was something we implemented into our site the moment it came out (Construction, Agriculture and Consumer Equipment: Niagara Frontier Equipment Sales, Inc.) and we have flyers on our parts counter to remind customers that they can look up parts from home, request a quote, order via fax or phone, and we can even drop ship the parts to their business or home if needed.

The idea was that once it was embedded in the dealers's site, the email request for quotes would go directly to the dealer to be handled locally. We are a getting a ton of hits off it.

I do agree that at least list price would not be a bad idea on the NH site. At least you would have some idea what the maximum amount the part cost would be and probably pay less for at the dealer level.

Great tool just the same.

I just want to thank the poster that referenced the West Hills Tractor, Inc. site for New Holland parts. I used the site on Tuesday, Feb. 20, 2007, called their 800 telephone number and provided my credit card number and the order was delivered today (Feb., 23,2007). That is fast, accurate and they were very good to deal with.
