Didn't know Hitachi made one but generally they have a good reputation.
A friend, who's a contractor, came out to help me build a deck out back about 4 years ago and he brought a Paslode cordless framing gun. Best darned thing that I'd ever seen. So much so that I had to go get one. It's just so easy when I'm out in the back 40 fixing wooden fences to tote that thing and shoot some nails. I can't think what that thing cost at the time but I wouldn't take money for it now. It's just so convenient. It's got pneumatic guns beat every which way. If the Hitachi is half as good, you won't go wrong ... with either one.
