Interesting, but I wonder what about it is different enough to be patented.

They got some dumb people to review it and assign a patent.

I've been using two pallets, one standing up leaning against the 2x4's in my clamp on pallet forks, one flat on the pallet forks.

What get's me is that they praise it as a "work platform" BUT only

for applications involving someone standing or sitting on or beneath the Front End Carrier, the Carrier must be attached to a forklift, telehandler, or similar vehicle that has a locking or other mechanism that prevents sudden drops in the lift, even in the event of a failure in a hydraulic system.

and don't picture the equipment in their pictures when they use it as a work platform.

I guess I better not show my system or they'll sue me for patent infringement.

You beat me to it, I have a pallet with a plywood deck on it and just use the 2x4 uprights to keep the bigger stuff like brush from falling back off.

My newest addition is some tie downs both to tie things to the pallet and to chain it to the forks/bucket.

Another reason that I was unimpressed by their design is because with the 3-400# of wood tgey say they include on it, plus the steel frame, I suspect that it would use up all our loader's capacity just for their platform.

The bit about using it for a man lift where they show it being used that way, but say not to is ridiculous, and their plan to add legs to support it is too.
