Patio and pergola installation

I thought about the brackets, but didn't want the visual they give. They're still under consideration, though! I won't decide how to fasten the rafters until I'm ready to do it, which will probably be a few weeks, yet (stupid job). With clematis growing all over it within a year, we probably wouldn't notice them, anyway...
