Hi folks glad TBN is back I was going into withdrawal today while it was down, Thank You Muhammad!
I have been communicating with Pat's company about his Easy Change but I'd really like to get some feedback from you guys out there who are using his cat 2 version, I'm assuming its just the same as the cat 1 with bigger pins and that is my concern. Are any of you using them/abusing them with a cat 2 hookup connected to 90hp or better, I work my machine hard and have managed to bend numerous attachments in the process, I don't want to add to my bends by buying his $200+ dollar cat 2 quick attach and staightening it out the first or even hundreth stump or big rock I roll thru.

Uhoh, not a good sign apparently not to many folks with larger machines use Pat's Easy Change with cat 2 pins.
If you do and you'd just respond I gottem and I likem there indestructible or something I'd sure appreciate it I'd love to call them back today and order a set but I sure hate to be the Guinea pig.

I've got it sitting at the house waiting to put on. Mine is a cat 2 hitch and I am also going to use a few cat1 attachments with the bushings. I asked the same question a month ago and everyone said it is a great investment.

My 45hp KAMA is a Cat 2, but I didn't reply cuz you asked for 90+ hp experience. For lack of other responses though, I can tell you that all damages I've experienced/repaired so far have been on or to the implements. The PEC devices themselves have weathered every storm. So from a 45hp perspective, the Cat2 PEC system is bulletproof.

Thanks Greg, I ended up calling Pats' assistant Vicky and she gave me what seemed to be good honest poop including Pats machine is an 80hp and he hasn't torn his up yet. I asked them about the bolt thing that a bunch of people have complained about them falling out and losing them she said their fix for that was a backup nut on all the new ones. Its funny but she said they had a much bigger market in the cat 1's then in the cat 2's because many of the cat 1's are on hobby farm size equipment where the operator has a job M-F and just wants to ride his tractor on the weekend not get all dirty and banged up doing it where the cat 2 and 3 sizes are typically more serious folks that have already lost a thumb or two and used to getting the hammer and crowbar out to make it fit. I haven't lost any thumbs yet but I do have the 5lb sledge and prybar handier then most city folks. Makes sense to me, I can't wait to give em a trial run If it saves me 5 minutes every time I need to change whats back there it'll be a good day and make for not saving up quite so much for the next time I have _______ mounted. Might even hook up the shredder for the first time ever just to see if it works because I sure don't need to be cutting grass in this part of Texas right now San Antonio is headed into drought restrictions tommorrow unless the frogs float tonight and I'm not holding my breath.

I just bought a TC 48DA with Cat 2 and bought a PEC for it. Tractor doesn't come for 2 weeks, so no experience yet. But I have a couple questions for anyone using PEC.

Can you attach a drawbar with the PEC units in place? How about picking up a ballast box?

Thanks.

Can't wait to get home my PECS just came in UPS! I do have an important observation if you have a big tractor as I have and plan on using some Cat 1 implements and some cat 2 implements make sure and tell Pat when you are ordering so they send you both types of the washers that protect your hitch pins otherwise he'll send only cat 2 or 1 depending on which PECS you order. They were very nice when I called them and are sending me some cat 1 washers as well but in the future for you folks ordering them be aware of this if you have mixed implement sizes.

PS It all arrived in great shape and looks as heavy duty as the rest of my tractor as promised and affirmed by the Good Folks of TBN, now if I can just convince my honey to let me go home early and play with them I'll have a really good day.

I got them installed this afternoon they are as promised very nice and work beautifully I backed up to 4 implements and hooked up in less then 30 minutes total I should have marked the spreader rod but I just wanted to make sure it'd fit em all and work. My box blade being closer to the ground may need some work on the 3pt because I had to fully extend my hyd 3pt cylinder to hook up but I think I can lower the tractor end of the 3pt to the bottom notch and hook up to the outside cat 3 openings and be fine as this would have the effect of reducing the distance between the BB and the tractor. Another Well satisfied customer for PECS.

Steve,
I don't know how you store your boxblade but I found propping the front up in the air makes it a lot easier to connect the top link and the lower lift pins as well. Makes it easier to see and line up when backing up to it. I use a 2 x 4 but I'm sure there are other ways...
