Kubota L5030 GSTsoon to be Kubota M7060 HDC12
I was all ready to order a set of Pat's premium Cat II quick hitch, and then i went to look at my new Kubota M7060HDC12 that arrived at the local dealer this morning. I looked at the lower lift arms and It doesn't look like there is enough room to install the equipment on the arms. Anybody have this set up on a Kubota?? Maybe send me a photo?? I priced new lift arms without the telescopic ends and boy is Kubota proud of them. (retail $430 EACH)I about fell over backwards. Any help would be appreciated.

Any particular reason you are not going with a std 3 pt quick hitch?

I'm pretty sure Pat's work fine with telescoping links. They really don't take up much more space on the arms than is required for typical implements. That said I'd probably go with a full quickhitch frame like so:

Go Quick Hitch and never look back (pun intended).

I wouldn't spend the money for Pat's to install on telescoping arms. Just don't think it's worth the cost. You will learn how to use your telescoping arms and will be able to stop the tractor in the proper position to hitch up with only trip out of the seat. Then the next step to speeding up that process is the QH. So if you are bound to spend money, go QH and skip the intermediate step. :)

I have four attachments that are either to narrow or wide or to narrow for the standard Cat I quick hitch, them there is the 72" Rhino rotary with the floating top hook, and i have some stuff that is Cat I and some that is Cat II. so i am going to sleave the Cat I to Cat II and I am all set. For me I think it is the cleanest way for a quick hitch system..

Thanks for the explanation, contact Pat's directly and ask them. At one time they offered a direct slide in piece for the extendible links, now that would be super cool. :cool2:

Thanks for your input. but i have several old attachment that i use that wont fit on the QH.. Pat's, to me, makes it all work out if it will go on the telescopic arms..

I totally understand that. And I'm betting some of them are designed so the Pat's can't get under the pins.

I think you should get your tractor home and try using the telescoping arms for a while and see how you get along.

With Pat's you still have to get off the tractor to adjust the width of the arms. Get back on the tractor. Hook. Then get off the tractor again to hitch the top link.

With the telescoping and a small amount of practice, you will only get off the tractor once.

Not sure your gain is as much as it appears.

Will be interesting to hear your take on this in a couple months. :)

I went to Pat's website and they do have a slide in hook..very cool, i sent them an email to see if it fits my tractor, and if it does i will have a set coming my way shortly. I have owned three other Kubotas with telescopic arms and some times especially when you are in a hurry, its a fight to get it hooked on, I am looking for an easier way. I'll let you know .Thanks for all the

I was thinking the full framed hitch, similar to the Pats but the full frame unit hooks up the top and the bottom pins and you don't have to bend over to release the lower pins when changing attachments. If you use hydraulics on the 3PH they will stay attached to the full frame set up.

To me the full framed hitch makes more sense.
