Go Quick Hitch and never look back (pun intended).
I wouldn't spend the money for Pat's to install on telescoping arms. Just don't think it's worth the cost. You will learn how to use your telescoping arms and will be able to stop the tractor in the proper position to hitch up with only trip out of the seat. Then the next step to speeding up that process is the QH. So if you are bound to spend money, go QH and skip the intermediate step.![]()
I agree with you whole heartedly. I have the telescoping links, and I decided not to re-use my Carters that I had on my previous tractor that was equipped with solid link ends.
Here is how I would rate the various systems. Solid link ends=0... frustrating and a pain in the...
Pats and Carters=1 Much better than solid link ends, but still have to hook up top link.
Telescoping Links=1 also, still have to hook up top link, and you do have to know how close to back up to reach, but dont have to exactly line up, like Pats and Carters.
One piece quick hitch=2.. gets it all at once. Once piece quick hitch with topNtilt =2.5
Delta hitch, maybe a 3?
