Pat\'s quick change system

I am fixing to send my order in so one last time is this item made in the USA and is it very high quality? Does anyone have a problem with it that I should be aware of ,I will be putting it on a NH TC 30. The fix style of quick hitch seem so limited my bb,rotary cutter.rfm all would have a problem with 26 in. width and one still has to hook up the pto so getting off the tractor is no problem . It is hot in central Texas

Re: Pat\'s quick change system

Yes they are made in the USA, right in Kentucky. Pat is a great guy and manufactures a quality product in my opinion. I do have one thing I've suggested that they change, but have no idea if they did or not. On mine, there is a cotter pin that holds a spring for the lever you raise up. One broke on mine and it means removing that side to replace the cotter pin. So, I just deal with it, it's such a minor thing I never replaced the pin.
I've had mine for 2+years and wouldn't be without them.

Re: Pat\'s quick change system

I have only had mine for about 1 month. Can't believe I waited so long for it!! Works well will my various attachments and seems to be very well built. Get the optional spacer bar it comes in handy also. You won't regret it!

good luck!

Re: Pat\'s quick change system

I don't agree about the space bar, that was bent within moments on mine, very flimsy.

As far as the system goes though, it's made very well, and has held up fine on my tractor for over two years so far. Keep your eyes on the adjustable screws on the spring mechanism though as vibration will allow them to fall out. This is used only to move up under the latch to hold it open, one on each side, but it hasn't been a big deal for me that one fell out and got lost.

Re: Pat\'s quick change system

I have one on my TC30 and it works great for hooking up implements. The spacer bar bent the first time I used it and hookup is easy without it. I have no problem with clearance with attachments. I have a 5' Bush Hog rotary cutter and a 4' Land Pride box blade. The only thing I have to get off and attach is the top link.
