This looks like a great idea...I'm tired of wrestling with my 3-point attachments so I'm going to order a set today. My question is what does the $25 stabilizer bar do?

Any comments on this system would be appreciated.

It is not really a stabilizer bar. It is used to spread the lift arms a specific amount so that the quick hitch ends line up perfectly with the implement pins. If you have implements that require different spacing, you can mark the bar so it can be set before use for the specific implement. Once the implement has been picked up, the bar is removed to prevent damage to it or the drive line. If you have horizontal stabilizers that are rigid and can be adjusted to the proper width, you may not need the bar.

I've used the Pat's system for many years and like it. Be aware that for most installations, the system extends the length of the lower drag links by about 4". This may require driveshaft adjustments on some implements.

PQH - GREAT
Stabilizer bar - I use a dowel and rubber bands.
And for the extra length a adapter will do.

I have Pats and they work great. Bought the stabilizer bar too. The bar would hit 1 of my implements at a certain height and bend. Since then I added rigid stabilizers replacing the turnbuckles and now I no longer use the stabilizer bar.

In addition to the driveshafts, you will most likely need a longer top link. That's not a big deal, but something you will need to remember.
When I installed my Pat's system all of the driveshafts worked out OK, but I did have to buy a new top link from TSC.

I didn't get the cross bar and don't need it as my arms stay spread. I didn't need longer top link or pto shafts either. Guess I got lucky.

I have been real happy with the quick hitch. So much easier to change implements.
