I feel his pain. I actually went looking for someone to do this for me. It was not as big as it turned out. The wife just kept adding on to it.....

I was quite shocked at the prices for laying brick. I thought they were unrealistic. /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif

hehehe... just cause he doesn't always know which plug goes into 110 verses 220 (forget the fact the plugs are different), if you've ever been to Hilton head and travelled around, you have undoubtedly driven past at lease ONE thing he's built. At one point in time (maybe holds true today for all I know, but I doubt it) he had the tallest building on the island to his credit (or maybe tallest residential building?)

Anyway, when it comes to blueprints/bankers/concepts... he's not such a dufas lol (I sure am glad he doesn't have a tractor... if /forums/images/graemlins/crazy.gif ya know what I read, oops I mean, mean /forums/images/graemlins/crazy.gif /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif)

Anyway, he's done ok by himself... I might keep him as my dad for a while longer even if the newer models have more chrome.

I put in about 300 sq ft of paver bricks last year. Looked into using a saw. The rental place suggested that I try a splitter.

I was very happy with the way project turned out. It was a lot faster to use the splitter than cut them.

It works great if you do not have any fancy cuts to make.

I put in all the bricks except for the ones that needed to be cut.

Then went to the rental place and rented the equipment for 4 hours. Only took about 2 hours including travel time.
