Anybody know how to clamp on forks and not make an indention in the bucket? I have the medium duty and with the way they're designed (with no support directly under the bucket in line with the clamp bolt) it seems there's no avoiding making a bowl shaped dent in the bucket where ever you mount them.

I added a 3 inch disk to distribute the pressure on my homemade clamp-on forks.

I was thinking about something similar. I guess I'll call a welding shop and see of they have some scraps. Nice looking forks from what I can see.

I'm curious about the lift capacity of clamp on forks. Seems like you could bend up the bucket in short order if you go after to much. Any thoughts?

Most of these buckets have only 1/8" steel carcasses. You must do
something to protect the thin steel from deforming. Attaching some steel to
spread the load like MJFOX did is a good solution. The current owner of
one of the Kioti CK30s I bought has punctured his bkt with this kind of
clamp-on fork. :-(

I have been using the light duty set for nearly 4 years .and haven't run into any of the above problems.
Just don't get carried away and over load them an use a little common sense and they do fine.
*He must have the strength of 12 men to do that.

I found a pair of "stabilizer brackets" at TSC that are perfect for spreading the load on the top side. $10, painted, at least 1/4" thick, and you get a pair of cat 1 pins and lynch pins to put in your spare parts bin. Item # 0267911.

Now I'll be looking for something to put under the bucket to prevent a crease. I'll check to be sure there's not a better way to mount the payne forks to prevent this.

My light duty forks clamp on top of my Markham Toothbar... Kind of a win-win...
