I have a BX2230. I was on seems like a couple of years ago, and I remember, I believe it was Junkman, had some pic's of how he plumbed his remote off of his FEL and was wondering if anyone could remember these pic's. I have the concept of the PBY, but need to know what color lines are for the In, Out, and Resevior. In other words I need know what lines are what? Need some help Thanks....

Your loader manual or maybe even the operators manual will tell you which lines are which out of the front hydraulic block. On most Kubota front blocks the port closest to the front (the right most) is the line from the pump. The loader's PB goes to the port nearest the rear (the left most). The return to tank line is the easiest to find as it goes right to the transmission near the center of the tractor.

To connect up your aux valve you take the PB line from the loader and connect it to the aux valve's inlet. The aux valve's PB line goes to the front block (left most port). The tank line can be teed with the loaders tank line, usually right at the transmission.

Thanks for the reply. I,m currently out on the road and was wondering if there was any thread I could look at while I am out here? If not, I will look it up in my manual when I do get home. Just thought it would give me more to think about.....

Most valves have a letter cast into the casting beside the port where each hose is connected that tells what the post is. I don't know if the BX is that way or not, but it would be easy to look at an see.

The Husco valves used by Kubota typically do not have markings. However, some do, some don't.

I remember reading where Junkman said that he tried to take it off the front end loader valve the way that Kubota had designed the kit that he purchased, but the hoses ran too close to the cooling fan and that it didn't work out. He said that he had the hoses cut and plumbed them into the two hoses that operated the backhoe. When the backhoe is off, then the two hoses are just connected together just like the way that Kubota designed the BX22, and that when the backhoe was installed, the oil flowed through the rear remote valve either on the way to or the way from the backhoe. I followed his instructions and pictures, and did mine that way also.
