Those of you who can grow peach trees without spraying, you are very lucky. The Oriental fruit moth and Plumb curculio are major pests for peach trees. Some areas have a bigger problem than others. Unless you are buying organic fruits and veggies at your grocery store, you are definitely getting crops that are sprayed. Commercial growers have access to much stronger chemicals than are available to the backyard hobbyist.
