Peoples shops and tractor parking

Under the barn in winter, tarped outside during the summer.

My shop is 10'x40' nothing reallly fits there with all my treasures and tools. The side big door allows me at least to work on cars one end at a time

What year is your Jeep?? Is it a CJ5?? Doesn't quite look right???

My shop is a second garage that I attached to the original garage attached to my house. It is roughly 36' deep x 40' wide but it is not a true rectangle because it comes of the original garage at an angle. The grey cabinets in the back are for my wife's gardening and pond stuff. She let's me have use of everthing else.

It is only about a year old so I have not had time to fill it yet. Give me time. There is also a 10'x24' attic space above the tractor and trailers where I can hide stuff.

The finish is just a concrete sealer typically refered to as a cure and seal. The one I used was Rez-Seal made by Euclid Chemical Company. You can find the stuff, or similar brands, at masonry supply stores. There is another brand called Kure-N-Seal by Chemrex. Essentially the same stuff.

It is not intended to be oil resistant but does not seem to be affected if you wipe up any oil spills right away. It is intended to seal the concrete to dust proof it and make sweeping easier. It is not as resistant to chemicals as an epoxy coating system would be but it is a lot cheaper and easier to apply. I used a pump up sprayer to spray the surface and then a roller on a long handle to work it it. The sealer is clear and is thin as water. It really bonds well to the concrete. It won't be as wear resistant as epoxy either. But it is easy to re-apply in high traffic areas if needed. It does make the floor slippery when wet.

This is an old picture (before windows were in and it was stained), but here is where my Kubota spends the night. There are two more doors on the back and one is 9' tall so there is never a ROPS issue. There is also room for an ATV and a mower plus a very small work area. I also have a very ugly lean to type thing that I park my implements under - it is out in the woods.

I used to keep my tractor in the shop with the wood working equipment. It was getting crowded, so I put up a pole shed about 3 years ago.
