PHD for the 2210? Is it capable?

What Ive always done with my 4100 is hold the phd at an angle with the stabilizer bar when travelling. Not that fun, but you get the extra digging depth that way.

Hi, you say the dealer wanted $900 for the WOrksaver PHD WITH the auger? just fyi, i'm looking at the Rural King flyer from today's paper, it shows the worksaver PHD (standard version vs the compact utility grade you priced). it is in the add for $379.99. 8" worksaver auger is 94.99, and the 12" auger is $124.99 if you're going with this, check out rural king online.. goodluck

Try searching for hydraulic diggers, also. They are mounted on a corner of the FEL bucket and probably hook into the loader scv for power. Seems like they would be easier to control, place, and operate. You also get some down pressure from the FEL.

Don't know why more people don't do this...go to TSC, buy their post hole digger without auger, go to the dealer and buy the 30 inch auger...or just ask the TSC manager to order you the Speeco compact digger, it will be a lot cheaper than $900, even with a couple augers. Most stores don't stock the compact, but I believe the DC's are, so you should be able to get it in a day or two.
