Glad to know you have the problem resolved and your wife is momentarily pleased.
It was more complicated than expected. My buddy had been using the PHD for an extended period of time. What I did not notice was the motor was a different one, how the heck did that happen? He had an issue with his conveyor and borrowed the PHD motor. He put the wrong one back on the PHD. Instead of 1900 ft. lbs of torque on the auger, I was getting 750. It would dig ok in dirt/clay but dry clay was a nogo.
Fence is up, horse is free and wife is momentarily appeased.
I am kind of wondering just how good a "buddy" he is. How could you mix up the two motors? I am also kind of surprised that the two motors were direct replacements for each other. But I suppose if the two motors were the same size and shape he may not of realized the difference in torque.
