I got a PHD for the 790, then found that the 3PH wouldn't go high enough to get it off the ground. I ordered another adjustable link to replace the fixed "down link" on the left side of the 3PH, to get it higher. I realize I will have to drill the hole, then, with the auger down, adjust out the links to get to the right depth. Anyone else have this situation?? /forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif

Does the yoke not have any adjustment holes in it?

It only has 1 "extra" hole in it, and it raises only about 1".

The price of the adjustable is $179, but I gues I gonna have to bite the bullet anyhow.

Ed,

Do you have an extra long auger bit? I have a PHD and it is probably 6 to 8 inches off the ground when raised all the way up?

I got it fixed, and working by drilling holes in the down link forks from the lift arms 1.5 inches up from original. Works great now.
Thanks for all the suggestions.

Are you sure your drive arm isn't just too long? Mine was and I had to cut it. I have a 790 and greenline PHD.
