The 384 has a 3 point mounted hoe on it,I know Bernie in NH made a subframe mount for his 284 but it is not necessary,Ive had many machines with 3 point mounted hoes on them and Ive put on many hours without a proublem, but You must be sure that the loader has the support brackets that go to the rear axles,The Koyker loaders come with the support,im not sure about the factory loaders, I would recomend fabricating one if the factory loaders come without, you could make it out of 3/8 plate about 3x5 with the axle bolts going through(Koyker uses 3 holes not 4 with a L shaped plate),weld a tab off it and on the loader mount, then use 2" box to stretch between-2 grade 8 bolts on each tab,you could also use 5/8 x 1.5 solid to do the same,I know that you didnt ask about it but I thought that id mention it for anybody who reads this post and has a tractor with a loader without the support brackets,it doesnt matter where the machine is made,Ive seen many used machines without the support which puts alot of stress on the bell housing area when using a loader, herd horror stories about a busted bellhousing
