I posted a thread a while back since I wanted to mow at dusk with my B7800 and the lights were not sufficient. I plan to put them on the weight bracket of the B7800. I have tried them on other tractor ROPS before but the shadow makes it hard to see.
Here is a photo of my L4300 with the lights on top of a custom made front guard. I had to mount them here since I often use weights on the bracket and couldn't put them anywhere else. They look sort of odd but work well.
I had a shop make the front guard. And while I don't have much in the way of trees, I do have a wife unable to judge distance, hence the protection.
The lights are direct wired to the battery with a fuse in between. They have a switch on them so no problem. Always hot but fused.

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder I guess, but I think the guard looks excellent and the lights are a work of art....they sure don't look odd to me! You did what I wish I could do with my BX 1800 and got the lights out where they need to be. I had to go on the top of the ROPS bar, but get the shadows you, and everyone else, gets. It ends up that I settle for my setup as the best I can do, but your's looks like something that Kubota should be offering commercially. Great job! Dyer, retired

The location and the light size and all look great, but if it were me that did it I would have used black ty-wraps to blend in better. They sell them at Radio Shack and many other electronic stores. LOL :)

Thanks. To me it resembles a "bug-eyed" Sprite from the 1960's but I can see a lot better and no shadows. I have seen larger farm equip with lights on the front weights or front weight bracket and that works the best. That is what I will do with my B7800 when it warms up. I could mow in the dark/dusk if I could see better.
Note we had 20 inches of snow over the weekend so you have some company. That amount here is like 60 inches back there. They wanted to call out the National Guard.
There is a photo of that snow behind my L4300 and another on the ""attachments" board. I plowed the snow with a rockrake and it worked fine.
Think spring,

For Gotcha--I have the black tywraps sitting on the hood but couldn't find them at the right time. Iwill fix.
