Photo pixel size

Was going to put a photo in my bio/profile page but at 80x80 pixels you'd need an electron microscope to see it. Am I missing something?

Nope. At postage stamp size it's difficult to show much. I have a few pics for avatars on sites, and one thing I initially had problems with was getting the pic to be properly proportioned.

For example, to tell the photo software to make a picture 80X80 that was 2084X3056 or some such measurements would make the downsized pic look like it came from a funhouse (do they still have these places?). I got around it by trimming the original to some multiple of the allowed size...............chim
