Are you talking about as an attachment or inline with the text? If you see a photo on the net or upload one to a site if you had one, you could use the Image markup link and paste the image address into the little box that pops up.
In addition you can upload pics as an attachment when making replies. Remember, they have to be under 100kb as Inspector said. After you are done typing your message, make sure the "I want to preview my post and/or attach a file" check box is checked. When the message preview appears, click the browse button under the preview. Locate your image and then double click it in the window or select it and click Open (I think that is the button). When you submit your post, your image will then be uploaded with the post.
Alternatively, you could create a gallery in the Photos section. The link is at the top of the site page. I haven't created a gallery so I don't know the interface, but I do know you can upload images up to 500kb. You are allotted a maximum space of 5MB, though.
There are still other sites you could use to create galleries, like
Webshots. I'm not sure of the limits they allow, but they are a popular service for hosting images.
