Just saw your new DK-45. Very nice!
I bought mine in 01 & it has done well by me -- now has about 500 hours.
One very necessary item: I built a heavy steel grille in front of the headlights. It has paid off more than once. You can probably find a bolt-on one made for the tractor. That front end is all plastic & very fragile, & also totaly exposed when the loader is lifted.
What kind of deal did you get on the tractor? I think that they have gone up a good deal in the four years since I bought mine.

The DK 45 with FEL, BH, 6ft Kioti tiller and a Modern 6ft box blade was a little less than $28,700. If I had waited a month for the new DK45S it would have been about $1100 more.
So far, it has been a thrill. Doing OK with the mowing and tilling, but the FEL, BH, and BB still need a lot of practice. Of the 64 hrs my son has about 50 of them. I NEED MORE SEAT TIME /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Thanks, George. Sounds like you did very well on the price. I bought mine in late 2001 for $18,000 without any implements, just the loader. I have always been impressed with its performance. Don't know what I'd ever do around here without it.
It is not unusual from what I have seen when one buys a Kioti right as we both did, to have the dealer price increases keep pace with depreciation.
