Picked Up a Used KK II Tiller

Picked this up over the weekend. 60" King Kutter II Tiller. Posted a want ad on CL and the guy called me up. I got if $950. I connected it up on Sunday and it works great. The PTO shaft fit which was good. It was cut to length, but the right size for my tractor. The fluid levels were good and the axle had grease in it. Pretty solid tiller.

Good buy! I have a 72" tiller and love it! Very solid machine. You should get many years out of it. Just keep it lubed up and you'll be good to go!

Same here. I think I am pretty lucky to find it. Guy wanted $975. I got him down to $950. Wish I could have done better, but he was pretty firm. It was worth the price to me. Now if summer would just come.....

Nice find at a great price. We bought our KK 72" new and its taken a beating without any real problems (3 acres per year small farm).

2 things I can think of are to make sure the slip clutch works and is set correctly and that the fluid isn't milky at all in the gear box (usually only an issue if stored outside).

One of the 3pt pins on ours comes loose occassionally and the skids bend but they pound right back. I also welded a trailer jack to my frame to help when storing and unmounting.
