yes, only one was alive when i found them, what had happened is it rained a little the chicks where out in the fenced part of my chick coop, they got wet and cold .
Very nice!
I was in a TSC a couple years ago about this time.
There were two employees standing looking at the 100 plus chicks in the tubs.
I ask- Are you naming them?
They both ignored me. ???
Well I still get a good laugh when I think about it.
Picking up our chicks 5/15. We're getting some Turkeys as well. In preparation, I built a coop for them using pallets which were free from the hardware store, some salvaged lumber, 4 pier bases and some pickets from Lowes.

I can't seem to imbed the pics in the post, so we will do it the hard way.
A friend with Ameracaunas said the same thing about those. Ameracauna's eggs are blue and green. Should be a rainbow of fun.The Barred Rocks will spit out huge eggs for you.
I have 4 of each. I wanted a few Americaunas because I'd always heard the eggs were a little lower in cholesterol (they're not), and the BR's because they're prolific layers and good birds. Here's today's take...http://www.tractorbynet.com/forums/asset.php?fid=351818&uid=21100&d=1400283277A friend with Ameracaunas said the same thing about those. Ameracauna's eggs are blue and green.
