After I left the dealership I went driving around and visited a few farms. I saw this farm and decided to take a pic.

Afterwards I went and visited my friend who works at Lakeside JD in Avon, NY and these are some of the toys on their lot. (I fixed the pic)

Yes....Excellence in Photography. What camera are you using - I briefly looked through your recent posts to see if the question was already answered - and was reminded that you've taken some nice pictures.

Digital, I assume, or just a fast turn around on the developing?

Real nice pictures. Looks like you had a nice day.

Any one know what the point of the rollover plow? I have never seen anything like that.

Also thanks for throwing in the pic of the old Mack. /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gifI drove one of those around my dads land once when I was younger. Now THAT was an intersting day.

Hi, the rollover plow is so that when you get to the end of the furrow you can turn right around and come back down the same exact furrow. You can plow the entire field in one direction instead of having two furrows to run.

As for my camera, currently I am using a Sony DSC-F717. All the pics I take are set at the highest setting then I have to crop and resize to fit TBN's requirements which usually results in diminshed quality. This Sony takes great pictures that can be printed to 8x10's with perfect clarity. I am considering buying a Canon EOS-1Ds for a more versatile camera as the Sony is limited as far as zooms go and I take a lot of my pictures outdoors so the larger zoom lens that Canon offers would be perfect. However the price is kinda hard to justify right now /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif $7000 for just the camera body /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif

I am glad you guys like the pics. I had a bunch more but these were the most unique tractors at the show. Take care.

Thanks - we're looking for a digital but I think we'll be in the $500 range. That's a real nice unit, and the Canon is /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif$$$$
