ponytug - "Did I paint that barn". No - that's a photo taken off a website. It's regarding "barns of the Palouse". But - thank you for that thought. I can attest that it is a picture of a real barn. I've been there and seen it. Has it been photo enhanced - I really don't know.

This is a winter photo and I've only been there in the late spring. Everything was green and not all the other colors.

Another barn in the middle of town, not in to bad of shape but sure could use a coat of paint. I suspect most of the barns behind these big old houses in town have been torn down.

It's a reminder that hits too close to home...

I have only owned this one for 4 years. Is not in the condition it can be rehabbed. Am not going to demolish. Cattle still use it. Is settling but fairly solid.

Called one of the old barn salvage operations and was told if easy access to the site and the wood was good they would take it and clean up for no charge. No thanks.

This is an Amish farm. They have horses that actually work still. One thing is nobody can build a clothesline like the Amish. Just a little left of center in the picture is a pole with a pulley on it. This is their clothesline and sometimes they end up 20 feet off the ground by the time they fill the line up.

I mentioned earlier that I took these barn pictures over the last year during bicycle rides. What surprises me is I remember where almost all these places are. Some I have ridden my bike by several times, others just once. The cell tower in that barn kind of killed the picture but most of these pictures I made no effort to compose them.
