Well here they are...

The first one shows the view from the right side entrance of the tractor.

This next one shows the view from the operators erea. I think the new valve is an improvement, just eliminates just about all posibility of getting on the tractor from the right hand side.

Hard to tell from the picture. I'm sure you have sat on both, what is your opinion as far as location. I know you said it was an improvement, but I get the feeling from your post that it could be improved still. In my opinion it still looks like an afterthought. Like I said it is hard to tell from the picture. Do you like the reach or feel of it better than the older style? Blocking off one side of the tractor does not bother me at all. I always use the left side to get on and off. I would like to have seen something that is more of a natural fit just off to the side of the operator. Thanks for the pics though!

I would much rather sacrifice getting off the right side to having my arm up in the air to operate the joystick all day long! I think it's much better at more-or-less waist high.

I agree. The closer you keep your arms and hands to your body, the less fatigued you will be. Waist high, just off to the right would be great. At least though it does show that somebody is listening and responding to suggestions. I'm happy with that.

I guess it depends on how and where the tractor is used, but for me its more useful to be able to mount from either side then the minor inconvience of reaching for the loader valve for the short intervals I actually need to touch it. When I stop there is often a puddle/mud hole/thornbush/etc on one side of the machine making it easier to get off on the other side. Anyway, as the right side is effectively blocked by the new valve Kioti could enclose that space adding storage capacity.

Kioti is getting there, here's a picture of the New Holland mount on the fender. Sorry that the pic is a bit dark, but the operator lever can be seen clearly. I feel that it also doesn't allow easy access to the driver's seat from the right hand side.

Looks like to me there is more access to the right side with the NH. The NH tractor I tried out had the high low switch mounted to the loader control lever. Really a nice setup. I believe that tractor was hydro.

A bit more room, but the foot throttle is also there to get snagged on, or possible trip hazard. Plus the NH foot throttle is so light weight. I much perfered the Kioti heavy built foot throttle. It could be modified if one liked also easier. The Kioti was built like it was ready to go to the war front. I always liked that heavy robust try and break me look. /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif
