Well started on my hole for the pool today, got about 3 hours backhoe time, will get some more tomorrow. I love my tractor.

Looks good, glad to see ya using it to it's potential. Hope the backhoe fix is an easy one, but it sounds like one of the swing cylinders might need to be repacked. Probably just a factory defect inside the cylinder, a piece of slag or something.

If you got the back hoe in the up right and locked position, use the front end loader, will do a lot of work. and allow you to move the dirt further away from the hole.
update on project and tractor!
the hole is 95% done I had purchased a 60" tiller from tractor supply last week to use on the dirt removed from the pool project so I removed the backhoe and tilled the rest of the area and used the front loader on the loose dirt worked great. But here's the thing and maybe you guy's can explain this to me, after I was done with my tiller today I disconnected it and put the backhoe back on to bring to the shop in the morning and the darn thing is working fine I don't understand what happened. One thing I do know is when it stopped working yesterday the hydro system was very hot I could not keep my hand on the cylinders I don't know if this had anything to do with it or if this is normal. I am a happy camper again:thumbsup:

Where was the Three Point Hitch control, I found on my BX23 if I leave it any where but the center position, FEL and BH won't work correctley.
