Re: Pic\'s of my TN 65

Looks good! I can't wait for my loader to arrive so I can take delivery of mine.

Great looking tractor. I don't see anything hooked up to it. What kinds of things do you do with it?

Re: Pic\'s of my TN 65

I unhooked a disc so that I can bring the 4 row planter down back to the fields. I had the planter up to clean after we were done planting and hadn't taken it back yet. I use it for loading some of our trailers and tending our fields. We used it for building 30 acres of pens over the last couple years and keeping them mowed and no-tilling clover seed every couple years in the pens. We plant 15 acres of corn every year and 5 acres of soy for the wildlife. We also use it on jobsites for cleaning up demolition and other various tasks.

I know how you feel, when my tractor arived at the dealership the loader didn't have all the shims with it so I had to wait another week for them. It is a nice loader and make sure you have the dealer show you how to unhook the loader, it is a simple process but seeing it done helps so you don't make any mistakes.

Do you have any idea what size backhoe attachment will fit the TN? I see used B.H.s around here occasionally for $1500 or so.

You can use a Woods model 1050 which has a 126" digging depth and is one of the largest 3 pt backhoes I know of. Talk to your dealer and he can tell you better but you have to make sure you get the frame for the backhoe to lock your tractor together with the backhoe so you don't split.

Re: Pic\'s of my TN 65

I just bought a new TN65 and was wondering how yours has treated you, what if any problems you have had or any quirks I need to watch out for. I have about 50 hours of brush hogging on mine. I do have the 32LA loader on it. I am from the Western New York area, about 45 minutes south of Buffalo. By the way, my tractor came with 16.9x28rear and 9x24 front tires, I'm not sure if this is a good or bad selection.

Re: Pic\'s of my TN 65

What town? I live just outside Silver Creek right on Rt. 20. The one problem is that the bolts loosen up, I had the loader bolts loosen up but that was fixed with loc tite and the bolt that holds the lift arm rod fell out causing me to loose all the hydraulic oil out in the back field, the power steering lines had a burr at a compression fitting and that leaked. Also the linkage siezes going thru the rear block, my 1-4 shifter and 4wd engagement lever started to sieze but I Kroiled them and worked them so they loosened up and now I spray them regular basis. Did you buy yours from Romances? If so you can talk to Mike Wilson about the linkage siezing up and he will help you with any problems. The smaller tires should work fine, I bought the larger ones for ground clearance and flotation because we have a lot of springs here making soft ground. Good Luck and if you have any problems call your dealer.

Re: Pic\'s of my TN 65

Robert, I replied to your last post but it did not seem to go through, I live in West Valley. I did not buy my tractor from Romance, got the best price from Forrester Farm Equipment in Chambersburg PA, with the 16x16 and power shuttle along with the 32LA loader and 16.9 hydraulic pump, neither Romance or the big lockport Dealer quoted me any type of good price. The dealer recommended I go with the 16.9x28 and 9.5x24 tires as they match the tractors power better. I had to lube the diff lock and range shifter the first time I used the tractor since they were both pretty much so stiff as to be unusable. I will watch those bolts you mentioned.
