Great Trailer. What kind of weight rating does it have?

The dealer's tag on it had "GVWR 15680" but the PJ web site advertises it as a 14K trailer so that's the number I use. It weighs around 4000 empty so gives me 10k capacity. You can order it with a winch, but mine didnt come with one. I would like to add one because the tilt is so slick it would be easy to winch a diabled car or tractor up on the trailer.

Just went out side to check the vin sticker on the tailer and it is in fact GVWR 15680.

Is it noisy when pulling empty? I think it has a lot to do with where the pivot point is, but the only tiltbed I ever pulled sure seemed to make a lot of racket. It was shop built and modeled after a Little Beaver trailer, tandem axles, tandem wheels, gooseneck. That is one nice looking setup.

This trailer is awesome empty. I never had a trailer with torsion axles before and I can't believe how stable it is empty. Most HD trailers I've towed empty seem to bounce around alot over bumps and road imperfections. This one didn't. I didnt notice any noise either. Ive got a mowing job next tuesday so that is the first time I'll use it loaded up. I'll let you know how it goes.

Dang!!! That is one very nice trailer!!! What provisions for tiedowns does it have? I can't tell from the photos. My 20-foot trailer only has stake pockets and I'm not sure how much force can be applied to them. I'm going to have to get at least some of them reinforced... or possibly D-rings added.

Your 24-foot trailer really illustrates the advantage of length when having to cart around large 3-pt hitch implements. I thought I was in good shape at 20-ft... but now I wish I had even longer!
