I couldn't make my mind up thats why I am somewhere between a 40 and 50.:laughing:

Take the money saved and consider how much extra work a 40 can do with that extra implement than a 50 can do with 8 extra HP. As I recall it is about a 2500-3000 buck difference. That will get you a grapple and a tiller that you won't have with the 50.

Prepare for the 50hr service now... lots of hydraulic oil, and filters to change, but worth it.

Fill the back tires, get some additional lights on that ROPS, and take the Detent balls out of the rear hydraulic remote.

My dealer did this on my DK40SE before I took delivery. He explained that it was easy to unknowingly be working the pump (and thus burn it up) but keeping the remote engaged. I wondered if others did this.

Looks like you have a two gang disc harrow sitting beside the shed in one of the pics. Hook that rascal up and you'll have a temporary "ballast box" until you can buy or fabricate a real one.

Yep tractor showed up after a rainy day. Sure wasnt gona wait for things to dry out to use the new tractor.

My trailer should be in bot 2 weeks. Cant wait. Hopfully my diesel motor will b rebuilt by then. Thanks guys I just love the tractor. Once it drys out I will realy get to use it.
