2007 John Deere 3120 TLBM
My buddy brought over his 2210 and I could not resist! I think they look sweet, but the ride is a little harsher. Well worth the trade off I think- it looks like a tractor now. Please help me find a set! I will lose sleep until I do.

Well, I don't know about a tractor but a garden tractor on steroids maybe.

Hi dieselram ,

Those really look good on your Tractor and I could deal with the harsh ride ,
but my question would be , how will they perform in different work
environment scenario's , [ mud , snow , pulling , pushing , ect. ] , to bad you
can't borrow them for a day or a couple of months and give us a review ...

What ply are they , 4 or 6 ???

Thanks for the pictures !!! :)

I like the look. My old 595 had the HDAP tires. I thought they were great for traction, especially in mud. They also ran very low pressure so they would not damage grass. The only problem I had was when I bought a little 45 front loader. With even a 300# bucketload of something the sidewalls flexed and wobbled, even appearing as though they would go flat. I would see an advantage in using the R4 tires on an X series if one were lifting heavy rear implements, such as a box blade, or using the front loader that is available because they have a better load range and stiffer sidewall (which is why they ride rougher). Otherwise the HDAP tires get better traction in most cases and will not likely damage a finished lawn. I suppose they still remain the best choice for an X series style tractor for these reasons.

Hi John ,

Why did you get rid of your X595 ??? Just curious ...

I don't have the 45 front loader , but I see what your saying about the
weight issue ...

I have a 4300 so I don't really need to do anything other than push a little snow and mow alot of grass. Main reason-THEY LOOK COOL AS ****!

Thanks for asking. I got rid of my 595 mainly due to a change in my residence. I took a new position in the mountains of Western NC. Where I lived prior, I had about four acres of grass to mow, plus my parents' place on a regular basis. I also moved a little dirt with the front blade and pulled a cart around hauling various things. When I moved, my wife and I bought a nearly seven acres plot about two hours from my original residence. I hired out much of my parents' mowing. We have property, but it is almost entirely wooded. Thus, my needs changed from more of a large volume mowing need to one of box blading a long steep gravel drive, hauling large amounts of stone and mulch and doing things that one really needs a tractor for. Although sprightly, the 45 loader simply was not up to the tasks I needed it to do and the tractor hydraulics were very limited in what they could do, so I traded into a compact tractor. I loved my 595 and had I not moved, I would certainly still have it.
