I like the look. My old 595 had the HDAP tires. I thought they were great for traction, especially in mud. They also ran very low pressure so they would not damage grass. The only problem I had was when I bought a little 45 front loader. With even a 300# bucketload of something the sidewalls flexed and wobbled, even appearing as though they would go flat. I would see an advantage in using the R4 tires on an X series if one were lifting heavy rear implements, such as a box blade, or using the front loader that is available because they have a better load range and stiffer sidewall (which is why they ride rougher). Otherwise the HDAP tires get better traction in most cases and will not likely damage a finished lawn. I suppose they still remain the best choice for an X series style tractor for these reasons.John M
