After rereading your post, I'm not sure my pictures will do any good. My tool box is on the right side. As you will see, my power steering lines are on the left side. It appears that there may be significant differences between my 4500 4WD and your 4530.
First picture was taken from directly beneath the lines;
Second picture taken from under the front axle;
Third picture taken from behind the left front tire.

The second pic looks like something has already snagged your line and bent it out. I think something like that is what he is trying to prevent. Did you notice this?

You are right it does look like it is bent some. Right again, I hadn't noticed. Thanks for bringing it to my attention. It looks like I need to be coming up with a skid plate fix. I'll get back under there and see what I can do. Thanks again, BTDT.
