Can someone help me out, I'm looking for a picture of a 3 pt. hitch on a Ford 2000.

Thanks so much!

it will be a category 1 3pt hitch.

What specifically do you need? Also.. are you looking for a 4 cyl 2000 or a 3 cyl 2000

The 4 cyl 2000 will be virtually identical to a 600 or 601 series rear end.

I'v included a pic showing some of the rear of a 660.. again.. the rear of these cat 1 fords are going to be very similar untill you get a unit with gear reduction drives and / or a hi crop or a trike.. thus.. the 4 cyl 4000 and the 2000 3/4 cyl 3000 , and the 8n / naa are going to have similar looking rears.. though the lift specs will be different, and the 800/ 4000 and 3000 will have a heavier rear end than the 600 / 2000 4 cyl jobs.

I included a finrr pic that is of a NAA.. which is virtualy identical to the 600 / 2000 4 cyl gas rear end.. as wella s a couple other pics..

Thanks for the pictures Soundguy!

I'm specifically looking for pictures of where the stabilizer bars are. I have a customer I sold a box blade to and he has the type of stabilizer bars that you posted in the last picture that adjust very little if any and he's having problems hooking up the box blade due to the lift pins being closer together than most other implements.

The stabilizer bars that fit the under axle brackets are finicky.

1, he has to have the pins inthe brackets in the same plane and almost direct line across from the lower lift pin that the lower lift arm is mounted to.

2, some of the ford stabilizer bars have a curved end at one side, and at the other have 2 holes for different spacings. those are the original bars. the only ones i see today are the tisco bars.

3, the bars pretty much only work with an implement that strictly adheres to the cat 1 spec.. IE 26.5" or so between the lift pins.. The holes int he stab bars are a bit large, so you get about 1" inch play, max, side to side.. so i fthe implement isn't rel close to strict cat 1 specs.. he won't be using both stabilizer bars.. but should be able to use 1.. 1 is not ideal for a box blade.. but i've done it.. but prefer 2 with a blade... 1 with a mower is fine.. etc.

I fthe box blade is out of spec.. he may have to use adjustable chains.. or buy some flat stock and custom make some sway bars for it.

yes, that's correct.

I went out and measured our CAT 1 implements yesterday and they all range from 28"-22".

Check out the SAE standards for a Category I hitch. If memory serves me well it should be a 27" hitch width (between the pins) with a 14" mast height (to the top link attaching point).

Pictures of stabilizer chains are posted to the Attachments Forum Thread #14. Take a look, they will solve the problem.

With that much 'tolerance' I don't doubt that the rigid sway bars aren't fitting up.

I wonder why manufactures don't adhere to cat specs????
