Picture posting ?

I've got some pics of a tractor that I used to use to do forestry work.
I was hired by the owner to cut his land with his tractor.
Then one night it burnt and that was the end of it.
I wan't to see if anyone can identify it because I can't remember what it was.
The pics are saved in my e-mail.
Can I e-mail them to someone who can then post them.

Since you are registered, you can post them yourself. Just go to FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions) for instructions on how to attach a picture. (You may have to resize it/them if they are over 100Kb.)

If you are posting more than one, just reply to your previous message and attach the next picture to your reply.

If that fails, email them to me and I will try (email address in my BIO.)

Thanks, I e-mailed them to a friend and he's resizing them.
Hopefully be posted tonight.

How do you know how big a picture file is?

Right click on the picture file and then click on Properties. It will tell you how many KBs it is.

Not it Netscape 6.2- only height and width in pixels. But IE does. Thanks.

I think BillyP was referring to determining the size of a picture before posting it. /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif

I use Windows Explorer with view set to details. I keep my photo software open with Explorer and keep adjusting the size until it gets down below 100k. If you save the photo, then you can hit the refresh button in explorer to see the final size.
