I bought a 48", but am sorry that I didn't go for a wider one. I know now that it would handle it, but I would have to be very careful, because with the extra width, you get more breaking force if only one side were to catch on something. Might break a hitch arm off.

hehe...I try to get some seat time every night. I used the rake today to do the final prep for seeding the back yard (maybe I'll post a picture tomorrow). Hopefully it will get planted and straw'd tomorrow!

Then I'll strap on the BB and see how it works.

Looks pretty good. Have you tried turning the rake so the teeth face backward and just ride over the top? In some instances I find it smooths things a little faster without dragging a lot of extra dirt in the tines. Thanks for the pics.

I haven't tried that yet but I will (thanks for the suggestion). I did find that the gaps in the tines were too large to capture the small rocks. I ended up using a hand rake to rake up all of the small stuff right before we planted it (yesterday).
