Thanks Moss and Jay. Bluebonnets, indian paintbrush, and indian blanket are three of my favorites because they carpet the ground with blue and red. Later in the season, all the yellow flowers will come out, but these early three varieties make the landscape look blue, red, and orange. My bluebonnets are special because I transplanted them from a field of bluebonnets on another property that I've since sold. That property and its spectacular display was what I first invited my wife to go see when we started dating. These flowers are very close to my heart.

I agree. I have several species of plants and shrubs that I got from my parent's house before we sold it after they passed away. I have taken them to two houses and our property. I also gave some to my sisters, who forgot how much these things would mean to them in the future. Just last week I gave away 25 yellow raspberry plants to anyone that wanted them at my job. My grandma gave them to me 25 years ago from some of hers. Those things taste especially good when I remember my grandma while eating them with sugar and creme!
