Pictures/Info of your backyard pistol range

I looked through my pics, and don't seem to have many of the "range." But, I did have this one with a pretty good shot of it in the background. Nothing fancy. Shooting bench (picnic table), target holders (political signs) at 25 and 50 yards, and a BIG pile of dirt for a backstop. Nobody lives behind me (to the right side of the pic) for miles. All timber company forest land, and that's my property in the background for the next 1/2 mile.

If your insurance company ever discovers that you you have a range at home you may be in a world of hurt...

That covers it. You will get cancelled, right now. Far as any insurer of personal real estate is concerned, the liability issue is over the top. Hopefully, you agent isn't a member here........:laughing:

I've constructed an informal range at our hunting land. We have berms and targets at 25, 50, 75, and 100 yards. I build an inexpensive wooden frame with a few fence posts. We can shoot at all target ranges from one location....and I have a single bench to shoot from as well as a shootng table to stow our gear.

We have a backer board for paper targets and a place for some cans and jugs. We also hang some bowling pins and I bought some AR500 steel plates. The steel plates are the easiest and most fun to shoot....but you gotta do it right.

We mostly shoot 22 cal and pistol rounds in both pistols and lever guns. We will sight-in deer guns and varmit guns sometimes....but I like the pistol rounds and 22's for safety, economy, and more fun.
