If a blacksmith shop is anything like a machine shop, the metal cutoffs and leftovers that "you might need someday" will take over the workspace. Maybe these guys just have a pile out back.

lt's the same in a woodshop. I guess this Spring is a good time to go into the cutting board business.

This one is in Hungary and I had one from Czech - newly built full brick building, nicer than most houses.

Typical historical blacksmith shop in Czech looks little bit like an old fashion American gas station.

But I will be building 12x16 shelter only, limit is the lumber my sawmill can produce.

i already have a pile of metal like that. Shafts, tie rods, mower blades and more.
