I posted awhile back and solicited input on irrigating from my pond. I appreciated the feedback. I have attached pictures of my setup.
I bought a "cheap" gas powered water pump from Northern Tool. 5.5HP can put out 12,000 GPH, with a max PSI of 52.
I then stepped the 2" output down to 1.5 inch and ran that out and about. The ends were fitted with bushing that stepped things down to the garden hose size.
I looked all over for sprinklers. Rainguns with serious diameters were just too much $$. From Lowes I was able to find Sprinklers with a 106 ft. diameter (by far larger than anything else I could find) price $25 each. I then welded up towers and mounted them on top (getting them up by between 4 & 6 feet). I just bought some thin walled 2" steel pipe and ran the hose right up through it. Welded a horizontal piece of steel at the top and cable-tied the sprinkler to them. Welded 3 spike feet to the bottom of each and away I go. This little diversion picked me up another 30 feet in diameter.
As long as I don't run more that a 50' hose off the 1.5" PVC Everything is good.
I am doing about 2.5 acres in these pictures.
