Here's my setup. The winch is one from tractor supply. Kind of fell into that one. I usually check out their clearance section, saw this sitting in the bottom of the shelf. Regularly 380 something and on clearance for $130!!! Couldn't say no to That! It's a 8,000lb with synthetic line. Winch cradle is a simple curt one. I could have made one but buying was a little easier lol. As for the trailer mounts, it's 3/8 plate cut with my plasma then bent on my press brake to make it pretty and work well. I also got a $25 wireless remote for the winch. The whole setup works absolutely amazing and I couldn't be happier. I like the winch up higher than the deck so when I'm pulling from something low, like a car, the line does not rub on the deck. I know this is a different set up than your trailer but I hope this helps! Good luck! P.s. I also made the cone holder

My trailer is only 6K and 14 foot so a 2500 lb. remote winch from northern tools was good enough. 1 pic is front view. 2nd is a side view showing winch mounted on a 3" x 3" angle welded across V tongue with sheet metal canopy to keep a little weather off it.

Thanks you rmc125ms
Now that is what I call pictures of how you mounted your winch. Thanks a lot. Very nice job as well. I got some very good ideas from that.
Thanks to terryknight as well for his pictures.
It seems that not that many folks either have winches on trailers or have the pictures of the mounts.

Made a bridge mounting plate so I could keep my center d ring. also tied the top of the mounting plate into the spine on the front side of the gooseneck upright.
