Calling people stupid just won't get you anywhere....

Sorry I call it as I see it, and people that subject their kids to unnecessary dangers by riding them around in a bucket are just that in my opinion!

Also view the thread that I started in the safety forum about the subject of riding kids in buckets, there where an awful lot of folks that agreed with me!

I was born and raised on a farm and continue to farm, I am sorry that I protect my kids from danger! I thought as a parent that we were supposed to do that? I don't care who you are or how safe or extra safe you say you are when you have your kids around equipment, accidents happen everyday in the US with equipment, so go ahead and be macho and tell people like me not to play big brother and that you can handle it yourself, but as I stated earlier accidents happen daily because of the stupidity of adults who think they are safe!

I am not trying to make friends by being passive and not standing my ground in this subject, I live my life by being honest and to the point, I was raised that way and I feel it is a good quality to have, I dont backstab or sugarcoat things, you can agree or disagree with me on this subject, it is your right to do so, but as you can see I speak my mind when I have to.

Only for you Jacob !
Here are the two most important women in my life posing with MissouriThunder. Mom grew up on a 160 acre farm in Loup City, Nebraska. When she came to visit us this summer, she couldn't resist getting some seat time and actually drove around the yard for a 1/2 hour. :) :) :)

FxdGrMind,
Excellent, excellent question. As jimmyj (aka the great pumpkin) can attest, there is an entire thread about my baby bota that's been buried deep in the "old threads" rubble. In a nutshell, it's a complete custom job that I had done by some chrome shop mafia dudes here in south central missouri. The pipe, along with a chrome toolbox attached to the back of my seat ended up costing me over $400 (yes, I got suckered). I love the look and will keep it forever but had I had some knowledge about how chrome jobs are done, I could have saved a bundle. I wish I knew how to cut and paste that thread to this reply so you could see how the project came to be. The pipe is simply attached to the muffler with three screws.
