I thought about that. I thought about the fact that the original 8N was a genuine working tractor and 20 hp then isn't what 20 hp is today... still.
Do the"real farmers" of which you speak want an 8N tribute? Hmmmm..
Would my original contention of a JD 3000 series or Kubota B series sized estate tractor have been perhaps a better target? Hey, it's just one man's opinion, but estate tractors just seemed like a better target audience for the tribute to me.
My father has an 8N which I've spent a lot of hrs on. When I saw last spring that they had made a modern version I couldn't wait to see one. Of course when I found out how big they were I wasn't quite as excited. I agree with you about wishing for a smaller version.
