Dakota... your video was excellent, and like the earlier posters, I look forward to see you in your tee shirt, blowing thru drifts of snow! That setup looks very serviceable and durable. Good work!

Here are some pics of my snow weapon with my new big boy 6 foot front blade. And a 6 foot Landpride rear blade. Only had a chance to use it once so far this season. But it was a 12 inch wet snow dump and the new blade worked better than my expectations. In the lull period after that snowfall and with the way above normal temps here in SE Michigan I decided to coat both blades with PlowSlick and, with the inspiration of other members from the Customization forum, I added a rear camera and display. So I'm really anxious now about getting more snow. But the way it's going here I don't think that will happen until after the new year.

I have been following a thread on rear camera options.
Would you mind directing me to the model of camera and screen you installed?

That is a very convenient looking setup u have.
I'm sure you will enjoy using it in the bad weather this winter.

Thanks supertaster. Here is a link to the thread that I started to follow and then asked the originator to list the parts he bought - http://www.tractorbynet.com/forums/customization/348402-loader-camera-pics.html. The 7 inch display was $24.37 and the camera was $16.99. The information supplied with both items is not very detailed but I've played with enough electronics over the years to get it set up. The originator of the thread is actually using it for a loader camera. But one nice feature I discovered after getting the display is that it allows 2 video inputs. So one could buy a second camera, plug it in and then use the button on the display to switch between the two. If you decide to buy this setup and have trouble getting things connected just PM me and I'll help you out.

Blowing snow into the street will bring about a ticket/fine around here. But the snow plow driver will feel good about pushing it all right back in front of the driveway. :D

Are you going to need a windshield wiper on that front window, to clear away melting snow?

Nice camera and display setup.

Thanks beenthere. When I adapted this cab to my tractor I thought about a wiper but ended up procrastinating on it. Since I retired 4 years ago I have the option to plow when I want, and it's always after the snow stops. ;-) I do apply RainX to the front window (the only one that is glass) in case of blowing snow. But visibility has never been an issue for me.

Nice, first time I see a plow "trip" system like that.
