Betting on end of winter for N. Idaho.

I removed the chains from tractor today, and I’m repainting and winterizing all my snow equipment. It’s been in the 40’s for 2 weeks now. It’s 54 today. Snow mostly gone and chains are wrecking wet ground.

Wouldn't matter even if it does snow again, as the ground to too sloppy to plow or blow snow.

GRS, Yep mine are coming off tomorrow. About half of my road out here is still thawing (shady areas) and it's pretty soupy.

Just spent 6 hours doing maint on tractor and equipment. I like it that the equip is now 10 years old and still looks great.

Won't be taking mine off for at least 2 more months. Never know around here, have had 1 foot storms in May.
This winter has been a bust for us. I can actually see my lawn in the yard. Just getting heavy wet rain/snow ice mixes. Haven't used the plow or the blower. Just cleaning up with the bucket. Ground keeps thawing out making a muddy mess, we have high 40's low 50's for next week. That's May weather for here not March. Not going to complain though. Saving money on heat and fuel.

I am in the same boat [almost literally with all the rain]. Too unpredictable:eek:

Yep chains are still on for a while, they help in the mud some also.

I don't run chains but the snow blower won't be coming off the tractor until at least mid May. Still a lot of winter left here.

True that, and the forecast for the foreseeable future is warm, wet, more warm and much mud. Hoo boy!
