Here's the latest addition to the implement arsenal. Rad Bervac B74 blower hitched to the Kioti DK 40. Tried it out in the old hard packed snow to clear a path out to the snowed in horse trailer. Had to go slow, but it chewed thru it. Its a real beast!:)

A couple of pics and a little vid of the initial test (sorry phone camera quality and fading daylight).

YouTube - Kioti DK40 with 3 Point Snowblower

Nice, I am looking for a used 5ft 3pt blower, never even concidered one before this year. And maybe I'll hardly ever use it but if I can find a decent deal on one I'll get it. Now the weather is going the other extreme, no snow in forcast and temps close to 50 this week :confused2:

I plow about 10 drives ranging in length from 200' to 1500' with the average one being maybe 450'. I also do 1 mile of road. No slop in my machine going on 8 years now. To each his own but I have done it all 3 ways and the FEL mounted plow is the best to me.

Chris

Well I didn't mean to start the LMP vs FMP debate here, so I'll just have to try it some time myself. Originaly I complimented Snowplow1 for his set up, and also mentioned everyone who has FEL plow seems very happy :)

BTW you are doing alot more "production plowing" than me.

JB.

In regards to the lift chain;I basically copied a design I had seen on TBN
I think this way there is less of an angle,a little less stress and an easier hook-up.Plus I had the tube steel.A friend of mine just copied mine but used a 4 inch channel for the upright....bent it the first time he used it.I have been using mine for three years..no problems works well. The plow floats on the lower pivot points.

Must be a pretty common tool...this must be the 3rd time it's been posted on this thread.
Yeah Roy I think Billy Mays was selling those on the Infomercials before he went to the great big Television show in the sky.

Heres the picture of my snow machine will be 20 years before I use it again. I was in the shop the other night and heard the eradio say we were about to get a large snow. I was in the shop and was cleaning up enjoying a six pack of adult beverages. I went out of the shop to get something and there was 2 inches of snow that wasnt there before. I had this old snow plow I bought at the scrap place a man was taking off an old Bronco. I brought it home with intentions of making it a little heavier and building a drag scraper out of it for the Yanmar. It and the frame were in the shop and sow was my stump bucket that I built and wanted to improve laying beside it. I cut off the bucket and and used the QC I built for it and did some work on the blades sub frame. In about an hour total I had this blade. I plowed out 2 miles of County road and all my neighbors except for the crack heads down the road. I went to town and did the vets office and a few stores. I had to get my use out of it lol. I also use it to spread my leaf piles on the garden spot last week. http://i471.photobucket.com/albums/rr78/tumblebugtaylor/101_0152.jpg

I had some better shots of it moving snow but my wife missed them. My neighbor has a little Branson and was pushing beside me down the road About 30 feet he couldnt keep up with the 53 HP 1840. It wasnt so much the HP but the blade offbears so fast. This blade is manual angle I will add a cylinder later. I just left it angled one way and worked in circles like you do when running a large angle dozer. We got one 3 inch smow with alot of ice a bout a week ago. I used it then to.

BX24 with the BX2763A plow blade and a TSC Carryall. The Carryall is used to carry a couple of buckets of sand for weight. Not pictured is a Herd Sander which is used after plowing when conditons are icy. If one looks closely one can see what happens to the overhead trim when the ROPS is left up when attempting to enter the garage.

Hmmm. Never posted a pic before. It says it was done uploading. Well, we'll see (or not see).

Looks like both doors?
I'd have to watch swinging around and clipping something with that carry-all.
One reason I like the compact ballast box for weight. :)

Nice clean drive there. Now what is the story behind the banner?
