Here's my Kubota BX25 clearing hard packed snow and ice. This is not a typical snow fall for this area (we usually get lots of deep snow with higher drifts) but thought you might like to see the action.

I am pleasantly surprised that your BX with the BXexpanded blade did as well as it did in that hardpack snow/ice. Put some chains on that little feller, and it would be practically unstoppable.

The total snowfall is the same as the average this year we've just had more heavy snowfall events and less thaws, sure could use a good one to make some room for more snow should it come. If we get anymore snow we will exceed the average that's for sure!

Here's my new weapon, cub cadet 5254 with Meyer plow from a dodge Dakota. 150$ for the plow. Rebuilt the angle cylinders and gave them a new paint job. Added loader hydraulics to the tractor thanks to member scoutcub and now I'm tackling the 55" we got so far this year in Lancaster.
