Woods-skid-shoes-003a.jpgTimberXX These are shoes from Woods. My particular rear blade is a Frontier RB1072 that was made by Woods. They are a little pricey, but as you can see they are quite beefy.
Going to need use the rear lade again for the storm arriving Wednesday into Thursday with amounts all over the place. Looks like a heavy wet spring slop.

yup... that storm was a mess. We went to bed with about 4" on the ground and the stupid weatherman saying 10% of evening snow. Woke up to 36" in the morning.

I could barely get to my shed and get the tractor. it tool literally an hour to walk 300 feet. Then i had to find and lock up all the dogs and the cat...who were all out having a ball... before i could get started on the tractor.

but all and all..it was fun

i bought snow shoes this year (many pairs for guests etc)...and find that they work great. 3ft of snow is nothing...for the shoes that is.

mega snow...luucky dog are you.

Here are some picks from a few weeks ago. Normally I don't use my tractor during the winter, but I was out of town during this blizzard. When I got home drifts were too big and frozen to plow with ATV or use my snowblower. It sure takes a lot longer to move snow with a 48" bucket.
